Mingtai owns 12 domestic advanced ingot production lines, 3 international and domestic leading hot rolling production lines, two 1+4(1 roughing +4 finishing) hot rolling production lines, one 1+1 (1 roughing +1 reversible finishing) hot rolling production lines, and 30 high-precision cold rolling (foil rolling) production lines. The annual production capacity of hot rolling products and cold rolling (foil rolling) products is nearly 2 million tons, respectively.
Besides, our company equips high-precision slitters, flying shears, splitting machines, bending straightening machines, stretching machines, polishing machines, quenching lines, annealing furnaces, etc. This allows us to meet almost all the processing needs of customers.
All the raw materials are classified, partitioned and stored at designated points. There are special personnel to manage the storage according to 6S standards to ensure that the raw materials are not polluted and there is no mixing phenomenon when using.
Every step during the melting process from feeding, melting, composition preparation, refining, gas removal, slag removal and furnace temperature control is carried out in strict accordance with the technical operation rules. We pay great attention to the process management and detail control, which lays a good foundation for ensuring product quality.
During casting, the qualified molten aluminum is cast into large plate ingot according to the specification requirements.
The qualified molten aluminum is introduced into the holding furnace for casting.
1+4 hot rolling mill line rolls the heated large plate ingot into the required thickness through the reversible hot roughing mill, and then produces the aluminum coils through 4 hot finishing mills. The whole process should be consistent to ensure that the final rolling temperature of the finished product is within the range of technological requirements. Our company has the first domestic independently developed 1+4 hot rolling mill line, and the process equipment and automation control are completely localized. This line can produce hot rolling coil of 2.0-10mm×950-2680mm×C and aluminum sheet/plate of 8-80mm×1000-3100mm×2000-15000, with an output of 450,000 tons/year.
Cold rolling processes the hot rolled material into customer-required thickness and width.
Saw cutting process removes the head and tail process waste on the casting plate ingot or cut the ingot into required size.
Grinding process improves the surface roughness of the products.
Foil rolling rolls the aluminum sheet even thinner less than 0.2mm.
In quenching process, the aluminum alloy which can be strengthened by heat treatment is performed with solution treatment, to prepare for the next processing.
Flying shear is the process of cutting aluminum coils into plates (sheets), and at the same time correcting the sheet/plate shape.
Slitting machine cuts large rolls of aluminum coil into small rolls by slitting.
Slicing machine cuts the aluminum coil into sheets, and meanwhile the sheet type can be corrected.
Precision sawing machine cuts the waste edge of the plate and cut it to the width and length required by the customer.
The stretcher pre-stretches the aluminum plate to eliminate the internal stress and thus to make the finished plate of better shape.
Bending straightener allows the sheet to shape better by bending and stretching to reduce or eliminate the waviness.
Polishing process is performed to improve the surface smoothness of the aluminum sheet/plate.
According to the requirements of the product, the annealing process, after heating the aluminum, partially or completely eliminates the internal stress, so that the aluminum strength meets the customers needs.
The intermediate frequency furnace heats and melts the cold aluminum material, and then pours it into the melting furnace for alloying treatment.
By continuous casting and rolling, the molten aluminum is manufactured into aluminum coils with a certain thickness.
Color coating production line is for customizing color aluminum, color aluminum strips following customer needs.
The color coating is coated on the surface of the aluminum plate by rolling (or spraying), so that the aluminum plate displays bright colors and patterns. This enables the aluminum material of wide application.
