1000 series aluminum is regarded as commercially pure aluminum, and it has 99%-99.9% of aluminum with no major alloying additions.
2000 series aluminum alloys typically contain between 2 to 10% of copper, with smaller additions of other elements, including Al-Cu-Mg, Al-Cu-Mg-Fe-Ni, Al-Cu-Mn, etc.
3000 series aluminum alloys are aluminum alloyed with magnesium and our range is not heat-treatable and suitable for anodizing and welding.
4000 series aluminum alloys are mainly alloyed with silicone (silicone content is between 4.5-6%). Only alloys with additions of Cu, Mg and Ni can be strengthened by heat treatment.
5000 series aluminum alloys are mainly alloyed with magnesium, with a small amount of Mn, Cr, Ni and other elements.
6000 series aluminum alloy has magnesium and silicone as the major alloying elements, and Mg2Si is the main strengthening phase. This series alloy can be strengthened by heat treatment.
7000 series aluminum alloy belongs to the Al-Zn-Mg-Cu system of super-hard aluminum, and utilizes zinc as the principal alloying element.
8011 aluminum alloy is a common aluminum alloy with iron and silicone as the main alloying elements.
